UDTA PUNJAB Takes  A Good Start


After all controversies and hiccups, finally ''Udta Punjab'' released yesterday. Film is multi starrer and has decent buzz all over due to controversies. Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are face of the film for youngsters and now its upto content to trend it well.



Film opened to good numbers on Friday. As expected, Delhi/UP and Punjab opened to superb numbers of around 55% occupancy. Mumbai, Bangalore and metros were good so overall occupancy was 35% plus. Film saw growth from evening onwards and that meant a very good day one for the film. Film was solid in Delhi and Punjab with 4 cr nett plus number.
