1ST DAY OPENING EARLY BOX OFFICE TRENDS OF UDTA PUNJAB

After all controversies and hiccups, finally ''Udta Punjab'' released today. Film is multi starrer and has decent buzz all over due to controversies. Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are face of the film for youngsters and now its upto content to trend it well.



Film opened to good numbers today. As expected, Delhi/UP and Punjab opened to superb numbers of around 55% occupancy. Mumbai, Bangalore and metros are good so overall occupancy is 35% plus. Film should see jump from evening onwards and that means a very good day one for the film.
